Kathie, I contacted Bumrungrad last year by email and had a very quick response but this year I was making appointments again and had trouble. I emailed several of their addresses and also filled out the appointment form as I couldn't get a response from them. In the end a day before we left (and only 2 days before the requested appointment) I telephoned them. No problem they had the emails and had made the appointments but I still don't know why I didn't get a reply. So hopefully you have an appointment but if you haven't requested a time you won't know when for!!!

If you don't mind phoning then its worth it to sort out. I'm sure they will have your appointment and probably think you know all about it too. I really like their service - I feel very comfortable there.

Mary, thanks for the info. Since we asked for appointments during our second stay in Bangkok. I'll just wait until we get to Bangkok and check on the appointments.

mary---your experience seems so thai to me...they are accomodating and interested in helping you but they do not follow through in the same way that we in the west would expect....

Speaking of Delta Dental, I just got some info in the mail last week saying that my dental plan has been switched over to Delta Dental. Happy Travels!

Bob - your right - they are really nice but don't always follow through as we'd expect. However I got the impression that they thought they had replied - I think there really must be something amiss with the email system. First year was no problem at all - this year absolutely no replies even when I send a message to the general email requesting acknowledgement because of problems. I also told them when I was at the hospital but I really don't think they quite understood what was happening.
