We have had Karen's cooking and it was very good. Never had Bob's (at least, not that I know of) Does it come with a disclaimer? Lucy, don't worry, we always love seeing you and look forward to hearing about Siem Reap. We haven't been there since 2000. Would love to go back. And Carol, will be great seeing you again. I haven't seen you since August!

Laurie, I was just recalling that GTG in NYC in August. Fun time!! No way I can make a December repeat, but if it could be scheduled annually, say August again, I might do a repeat. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you again, even if it was just 'yesterday' when we last said hi!

(btw, Laurie, I always head to N. Conway NH outlets after the BOS GTG, where Coach has fabulous Columbus Day sales, and NO sales tax)

Last minute decision- I and Mr. shelleyk will be attending the dinner at Similans. It was a last minute decision and Bob was nice enough to accommodate us.

The weather looks like it should be improving for the weekend, so hopefully all of you out-of-towners will have nice weather for the weekend.

We will not be at the luncheon, so save some travel stories for Sat. night.

Heading to Chicago this afternoon for my park/sleep/fly and then I'll be off in the morning. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting some new ones too! Safe travels, everyone. Lucy are you on your way pretty soon as well? You have everyone beat as far as distance travelled to get to the BOS GTG!!

If not for the month, at least come for the GTG over the long Columbus Day weekend. The fall color is at its peak at that time.
