Take a walk through Chinatown & the Pak Klong Dalat Produce Market (mountains of flowers & vegetables). My favorite Bangkok wat is Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), famous for its mosaic tile & steep climb for a wonderful view of Bangkok. Enjoyed our private tour of the Prasart Museum, an exceptional collection of art & handicrafts housed in traditional Thai buildings set in lovely grounds. Take a combination long-tail/rocket boat ride to explore Bangkok's fascinating maze of waterways through the heart of the city & the bucolic canals (Bangkok's "backwaters"). For a culture show/dining experience, try the Oriental Hotel (can't remember the name of the show/dinner), but it was quite good (set menu).
