You probably want a serviced apartment rather than a hotel. There are many serviced apartment buildings in Bangkok. Centrepoint has a number of buildings, Marriot has some serviced apartments, like the Marriott Mayfair. One of the regulars here loves the Adelphi suites.

See what facilities each place offers: some have full kitchens, some have kitchenettes, some have a washer/dryer in the apartment, some do not.

Make sure you will be close to a skytrain station.

For hotels and serviced apartments in Thailand, I use www.sawasdee.com

Are the four people all adults? What ages? Would you be happy with adjoining rooms? (connected by a door)
