What about Long Table, sukhumvit soi 16. You might enjoy dining outside. It's about 20 floors up (maybe higher) and has a view of one of the big city parks behind Asok BTS station. Food is more fusion Thai. Atmosphere is modern, very modern. Not a Thai house style at all. But worth the time, IMO.
