While not the fastest, one of the cheapest actually does go to Tokyo Stn & Ginza - the Access Narita Bus. Just 1000 yen.

Google Translate worked perfectly for us all over Japan. |
Really, just the name in English letters would probably work.
Google translate will work for this because it is a foreign name and gets translated to kana and altogether as a phrase: ミレニアム三井ガーデンホテル Mireniamu Mitsui gādenhoteru The word "millenium" gets translated to 千年紀 Sen'nenki and "garden" is translated to kanji: 庭園 Teien |
>>Thanks so much but one other question: We arrive in terminal 1. Our friends arrive an hour later in Terminal 2. I've read that there is very little seating and trains leave from terminal 1 then go to terminal 2 then on to Tokyo Station. How would we meet up with our friends, get tickets and be on the same train?<<
You are getting advice from real Japan/Tokyo experts, but I have been through the airport and Tokyo station -- and jet lagged I personally would not want to be searching for traveling companions at either one. And if one or the other flight is delayed (or arrives ahead of schedule) that would confuse things even more. >> Should we just meet up at the hotel?<< . . . This. I'd definitely meet them at the hotel |
