Thank you American Airlines
My son is in the U. S. Army and was traveling back to Ft Sill this morning after a little vacation following graduation from basic training. At the AA counter, the agent checked all his excess luggage for no charge and then upgraded him to a first class seat! I was in tears...

Good to hear!! I've heard of people giving up their First Class seats for our Military people, too. News like this is always good to hear.

When I was in the Army during the Vietnam War I was upgraded twice by AA while flying military standby.

What a nice story tdelony. And blessings to your family and your son. And many thanks for the sacrifice he is making. May he stay out of harms way.

I am very impressed, that is lovely!!
In the last couple of years I have noticed signs at AA's Admiral's Club lounge saying that any soldiers on R&R may use the lounge, regardless of the class of service they are flying. I have seen men and women wearing fatigues going in and out of the lounge and it puts a smile on my face. :-) |
awesome!!!

On the trip back from London, the flight attendant welcomed the service people apecially over the PA. AA's customer service really is great.

CLASS ACT. And they don't advertise it...they just do it as a courtesy. AA remains our choice for domestic. Good people. They must have good management because it starts at the top and works it's way down.
