That's a good price for summer. I'd grab it now before it goes higher.

2 adults and a lap child? thats pretty much a fair price this year for summer

my opinion
1) it wont go down much, as I dont expect any sales other than maybe a last last minute one if they have seats
2) The airlines might raise again for those that finalize their travel plans for summer during Easter break

if you are comfortable with the number, take it.

ps- enjoy your days with the lap child. They grow up, talk back and pay full fare

when are you looking at going?

fredandgingermad Apr 10th, 2011 03:26 PM

oh and for how long! flights to london from boston in july at the moment seem to be going for around $2300ish for all on expedia.com but without exact dates and length of stay its a bit awkward to say how much it'd cost and whether there's anything within your budget :-)

july 12 through august 23 ish give or take a few days. The price I found for $2,348 just went up to $2,428 :( Do I wait, or just bite the bullet and book it. This will be the most I've ever paid to travel to Uk :(

One problem is discount tickets often have a 29 or 30 day maximum duration. They'll have restrictions something like "Saturday night stay, return flight w/i 30 days".

If you don't want to shorten your trip -- you may just have to bite the bullet.

If you don't mind going indirect theres flights for $2100 on expedia.com with icelandair or direct with delta for $2274 also on expedia.com, thats for everyone btw :)
