Thank you James. All perks are already arranged for me including hotel stays and more. Because I did not pay for my tickets can I still get FF miles and then use them for wherever trip?

What do you mean by "I did not pay"? Is this an award or revenue ticket?

Pat2003 Jul 30th, 2006 05:33 PM

This is my business trip and all expenses are paid including flights and hotels

You will get miles for yourself, and you should investigate which FF program you want to deposit your miles to.

I don't know who the partners of EK are, but you should investigate. DXB-JFK is almost 7,000 miles one way. A 50% bonus will mean over 10,000 FF miles for just one flight, and 100% will mean 14K.

[And check the mileage earning rules carefully. For example, I know CO is a partner of EK, but EQMs are only earned on LGW-DXB. DXB-JFK in First Class will earn 150% CO miles, but no EQM.]

EK is a partner with UA

Pretty sure there no EQMs would be earned, either, since EK is not in *Alliance

Thank you both. I'll deposit miles to my Continental's OnePass
