Air Transat refund?
 

Hi

Air Transat cancelled our flight on JUly 23rd and sent us an email that they were giving us a credit to be used within the next two years.

But I would rather have a full refund since I don't know if we'll be able to travel (or want to) within the next two years.

Has anyone tried to get a full refund from them and were you successful?

PS Also, Eurostar hasn't responded to emails sent back in April about refunding our train tickets. Is that a lost cause as well?

The should give you the option of a full refund. SAS air cancelled our July flight and sent email for a voucher but there was a small section that I could click to request a refund instead. I only had a five day window to do it so contact them ASAP.

Canadian transport regulations do not require a cash refund, sadly. There has been public pressure for a revision but no action.
