Looks like I've just found my job: hooker. :-)

Leely Nov 4th, 2005 12:42 PM

cooncat, water just sprayed out of my mouth (and nose!) all over my keyboard.

My god, how funny. I guess every company needs at least one hooker.

sandi Nov 4th, 2005 12:48 PM

Just look at it as a smaller version of politics at its' best!

Patty Nov 4th, 2005 12:48 PM

I too need to wipe my monitor and keyboard now :D

sandi Nov 4th, 2005 12:49 PM

Friday afternoon... and we've all lost it.

cooncat Nov 4th, 2005 12:50 PM

I will endeavor to give it my all...

sundowner Nov 4th, 2005 01:38 PM

You guys are cracking me up!

Now that we have a hooker I think it's a great plan. What's the first destination?

Roccco Nov 4th, 2005 01:51 PM

I admit that I was having second thoughts about this proposed safari, that is until Cooncat stepped forward. ;)

Sarvowinner Nov 4th, 2005 02:08 PM

Cooncat, if you are the hooker, I guess I'll have to step up to the plate as the pimpette or madam :)

Leely Nov 4th, 2005 02:11 PM

No, no, Sarvo, we will definitely need a stable of hookers. Please, I hope you'll prove yourself a team player and help where you're most needed.

Cooncat is quite intrepid, but I'm sure she can't do ALL the hooking.

Roccco Nov 4th, 2005 02:39 PM

Sarvowinner,

Excuse me, but as the safari planners, Sandi and I will be sharing the pandering commissions. While we appreciate the 20% commissions we will get from the lodges, we are really salivating over the 80% commissions that we will exploit out of Cooncat! ;)

luangwablondes Nov 4th, 2005 03:42 PM

Rocco

You're going to be too busy flying clients. Came across this http://www.pilotjournal.com/content/...es/safari.html

Duncan Elliot(and his parents) is a friend of mine and was pleased to see he got his license. His father was the top tobacco grower in Zimbabwe for years.

Roccco Nov 4th, 2005 04:38 PM

luangwablondes,

I am pretty good at multitasking, so I will fly the plane as well.

NOTICE: There will be a 50% surcharge on normal "companion" rates for joining the mile-high club.

cooncat2 Nov 4th, 2005 06:13 PM

Do I have NOTHING to day in these matters? I may have agreed to be our hooker, but that doesn't make me a non-entity! Show some respect!!!!!

cooncat2 Nov 4th, 2005 06:16 PM

Geez. One two many beers, seeing a co-worker on to better things. That should be nothing to SAY. :'>

cooncat2 Nov 4th, 2005 06:19 PM

:"> (Good thing I'm only hooking.....the more I post the better I fit the profile, if you get my drift......)

:-]

climbhighsleeplow Nov 4th, 2005 07:31 PM

Our house is in the market here in Falls Church so we can spend more time in Africa ;)

Anybody in the market for a house :)

Carol gave me a mile-long list of chores before the open-house this Sat and Sun.

I've been banned from Fodors until my jobs are done - I'm only half-way done but this thread has taken such a wild turn that I am now all eyes and ears :)

I was going to post something funny, but Carol is coming down into the basement and I have to sign off quick - bye until later!

wjsonl Nov 5th, 2005 01:43 AM

Looks like climbhigh has become a closet Fodorite...

sandi Nov 5th, 2005 04:18 AM

Rocco -

... those commissions have to be shared by all... especially the hooker; the pimp/madam get the cut from the hooker! Does this mean we have to enter the world of "the big names?"

matnikstym Nov 5th, 2005 06:28 AM

Can I come too? I could be in charge of security...well maybe not after you read my next installment on Chongwe River Camp, but I'll carry the bags! :)
