Have you ever thought about quitting your day job and pursuing photography full time? ;-) Your photos are magnificent, as always.

The sharpness and contrast are impressive!

What was the story with the lioness carrying the cub? I'm guessing it was dead? If so, do you know what happened?

Thanks again everyone.

The cub was killed by one of the females of the Tsaro pride and the mother was eating it afterwards (Duba plains).

I used the 10.5 fisheye for some of the shots. It's a funy lens to play with.

And that young male is one of males from the Skimmer pride.

That's indeed Kalahari Harry. At the moment he's managing Kwando together with his wife Monique and they are based at Maun.

For some reason i'm not able to see more than a few pictures each time i hit the link....

I just got to the second bunch of pics now, i see the group picture. Nice to see Harry, Monique and Spencer. Charles is hidden behind him. Who is behind the wheel in the following picture? Is that Joe from Kwara?

I am not able to access the pictures, after the pic of the owl at night. Will try again shortly.....

Accessed the next bunch.....close up of Spencer. Hahaha. I'm on the phone right now talking to my sister to take a look at this thread and look at these pictures.....

Alright Johan, after many attempts i finally saw them all.....what happened was each time only a few would be displayed and originally i thought you just had about 10 or 15 pictures....the post by Bots made me check your link again....

As always, your pics are fascinating.

The one of the cub in the mother's mouth is not easy to look at... some things are hard to fathom. I knew about the cub-killing behavior but I did not know they would actually eat the cub.

A professional lot these photos. You captured the hyena interaction well. I liked the 3 lion cubs playing and what a contrast to the fate of that other poor lion cub. As Lisa mentioned, the lioness and bloodied cub shot was heartbreaking. It is an unusual slice of life in the wild that you witnessed and documented.

The wildlife jumps off the screen in your shots and the scenery photos are works of art as well.

Have you narrowed down the list of where to next?

Stunning, Johan. I could hardly look at the cub pics., that's how well done they are - how many of us have captured a scene like that?

Your birds in flight are amazing - were you up high? The owl shot is so well done - how did you ever manage to not bath the owl in light and keep the background dark?

You pulled me in with that perfect zebra and didn't disappoint. Somehow, you even managed to make the often seen lions more interesting.

On the Owl image Johan, did you use a Better Beamer flash extender or just the standard SB 800?
