Kavey, we get that feeling here at night when a fire engine siren wailing in the distance gets a pack of mountain coyotes up and howling, just across the street from us. I imagine myself lying in my tent, wondering what those animals are doing in the darkness.

I've sorted out the Dudu confusion. Gerard and Jackson are the only two partners and owners of Rekero. Gerard's kids need to go to school now; they are that age, so they will spend a lot of time in Nairobi the next few years. Therefore, Gerard's sister Dudu and her boyfriend (soon to be husband?) will be the daily in-house managers at Rekero for the time being.
Nobody is selling anything, nobody is pulling out. Rekero is having their best season ever, due to Jackson's appearance on the Big Cat Diary ... no doubt!
Mystery solved.

BTW, there will be no BCD this year.
