I am somewhere or other in my profile pic, I think

just got to know how to search:
http://www.fodors.com/community/asia...s-gtg-2009.cfm seems to be March 20, didn't read much more. I love your picture, rizzuto, where was it taken? |
We all clicked on Lynda's profile and saw the cheetah photos and felt unworthy of competing in the photo category.
My profile is a fait accompli. |
I was a bit confused by all the posts re the Asia GTG, I got the date was 3/20 but I am not sure where and the time. I would consider it as it might be a lot of fun.

I got the date as Saturday Mar 21. But never did figure out where.

Tom please email me so that I have your email address too. You can get mine via my profile.

Momliz, Aknard's photo was one I took of our group when we were near the eastern shore of Lake Manyara, near Maramboi Camp. There was a salty crust on the ground that got progressively wetter the closer we came to the lake. My profile photo is one she took of me at a Maasai village in Sinya Reserve.

Thanks, Momliz -- I took it in Prague, in front of a shop that sells marionettes.

Shay, great photo, love it!!
There are a lot people missing from this game...come out, come out wherever you are. |
I've filled out my profile but I was too lazy to find a picture of me so I just posted one I was working on. I will have to look for one since all of you have posted "real" photos. :)

Momliz,
What do Europeans look like are they almost human or aliens? |
I think the main day for the Asia board GTG is the 21st. You could e-mail Filmwill for more details or respond to the post.
|
Ah but momliz, I don't want to post a bigger version, I quite like the slight anonymity of a smaller thumbnail picture! I do have larger versions but had deliberately uploaded the small one I use for online profile slots!
|
OK, since I clearly can't remove the bloody thing, have uploaded larger version!
|
Kavey, that's a very fun photo. Love it!

Heh, thanks, a friend took it! Basically, I'd organised a GTG for a photography site and, after wandering about London all day, we ended up in Covent Garden in the evening. As it was shortly before Christmas, they had a merrygoround in the square. No-one else would go on it so I paid my money and hopped onto one of the last free horses, over on the opposite side to where the rest of the gang were waiting. As I came around the first time, 13 flash guns went off, as every member of the gang took my photo. They were all standing in a line at the ready! This happened each time I came back round, it was like being stalked by the paparazzi, it was hilarious! Even funnier when someone came up and asked my husband who the celebrity was! Anyway, this is one of the photos one of my friends took, which I particularly like as it's clear how much fun I was having on the merrygoround. And also, I look slightly demented, which is, so I'm told, my natural state!

surkamp - Europeans look something like the rest of us (but the backgrounds aren't as cool!)
kavey, both photos are so alive! |
