Bus service throughout the region is generally quite good. Oltursa (01/708–5000 www.oltursa.pe) runs all the way up the coast. Other reputable companies for the coastal communities include Cruz del Sur (01/311–5050 in Lima www.cruzdelsur.com.pe), CIVA (01/418–1111 in Lima www.civa.com.pe), and Transportes Chiclayo (074/607–032 in Chiclayo www.transporteschiclayo.pe). For the highlands, Móvil (www.movilbus.pe) is a good choice. Whenever possible, pay for a bus-cama or semi-cama, which gets you an enormous seat that fully reclines and attendant service that includes at least one meal and a movie. Some buses, such as CIVA’s Excluciva buses, have Wi-Fi.
