Fodor's Expert Review El Rincón Gaucho
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
The cowhide rugs and steer horns on the walls won't let you forget that this is a steak house. Even the menus are made of hand-tooled leather. But the abundant wine bottles are a reminder that man can't live on meat alone. Argentine beef, always sliced to order, is displayed just inside the front door. If you want variety, try the parrillada, a mixed grill of steaks, kidneys, liver, pork chops, and blood pudding. The order for two will easily satisfy three people. You can't go wrong with a bife de chorizo, a thick cut of sirloin.
