When it comes to creating youth education centers, architectural firm Squire and Partners and charity Computer Aid International really think outside the box. Or, depending on your point of view, inside the box. Squire and Partners recently teamed up with Computer Aid International to launch the Zubabox, a solar-powered youth center that brings internet connectivity and digital skills to Cazuca, Colombia. And it all takes place inside a recycled shipping container. Squire and Partners were able to keep the cost low by taking the industrial container and converting it into a bright and modern computer lab.
