Fodor's Review

This spot looks like a small, no-frills, rustic shack, but at lunchtime it is always full, which speaks to the food's quality. The menu is written on a flowery whiteboard on the wall of the raw-wood interior and includes owner María Luisa Ikanakoi's big, filling Chilean sandwiches as well as ceviche and a daily menu for 5,000 pesos. It's a nice break from the big, expensive meals elsewhere on the island. It’s just on the far side of Hanga Roa Eco Village Hotel, and in fact, was built to feed the laborers who worked there. Expect to be well-accompanied by a crowd of young locals, many of whom come here on their lunch break.
