In a beautiful old house in the city center, chef Pablo del Rio prepares modern Argentine cuisine inspired by the country's seven different food regions. The menu is slightly more daring than most in Mendoza, so you can order interesting cuts and meats (like brains and wild boar) in addition to tasty river fish and enormous steaks. The wine list, organized by flavor profile, is presented on iPads. Although the atmosphere here is a bit sterile, the visible kitchen adds interest to an otherwise plain white room. If you want to go all out, try the four- or seven-course tasting menu.
