Fodor's Expert Review Trattoria Olivetti
In a city so packed with Italian restaurants that you could spend years visiting all of them, to claim that one or another is the best is presumptuous. But Trattoria Olivetti's casual style, fantastic service and atmosphere, and prime location in Palermo Chico's Little Italy bodes well for the claim that this is the city's top trattoria. For the more adventurous, don't miss Chef Luca Lepri Berluti's "surf and turf" of gamberi e animelle (perfectly grilled prawns and sweetbreads), or his guanciola (beautifully braised pork cheeks). For those less inclined to stray into that territory, the multilayered house lasagna may just be the finest in Argentina. There's a great wine list, too.
