Fodor's Expert Review Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires
Posadas 1086, Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, 1011, Argentina
A $49 million renovation in 2013 rendered this hotel even grander than before—quite a feat for what was already one of the city's swankiest lodgings. An upscale equine theme runs throughout, as evident with the contemporary horse sculptures on the front lawn and the hotel's Pony Line Bar, which always attracts a smart crowd. You'll even find tiny horses in the design of the guest rooms, which are modern, bright, and luxe. The hotel's two restaurants—Elena and Nuestro Secreto—are among the best in the city. The neighboring mansion draws some of the world's most famous folks, including Madonna (who stayed here while filming Evita) and the Rolling Stones.
