Fodor's Review

Gasses hissing from vents underscore the volatile nature of this area's geothermal features. The ¾-mile round-trip Mud Volcano Interpretive Trail loops gently around seething, sulfuric mud pots with names such as Black Dragon's Cauldron and Sizzling Basin before making its way around Mud Volcano itself, a boiling pot of brown goo.
