For the most part, airlines connect the region only to Denver, Minneapolis, or Salt Lake City, although some carriers occasionally have seasonal routes to smaller cities such as Billings. Delta Air Lines serves Casper and Cody from Salt Lake City. Northwest Airlines connects Casper and Minneapolis. United Airlines flies from Denver into Casper, Gillette, Sheridan, and Cody.
The region’s major airports are Casper’s Natrona County International Airport, Gillette’s Campbell County Airport, and Cody’s Yellowstone Regional Airport. Sheridan County Airport has one or two flights daily to and from Denver, plus charter service.
The Campbell County Airport is 6 miles north of Gillette and 106 miles east of Sheridan. Natrona County International Airport is 12 miles west of Casper. Yellowstone Regional Airport is on the edge of Cody, about a mile from downtown.
