Sheridan

Like every other community on the edge of the Bighorn National Forest, Sheridan abounds with opportunities for outdoor recreation. A love of sports seems to be a common thread among people here, whether they’re visitors or locals, winter enthusiasts or sunseekers, thrill hunters or quiet naturalists. Because of Sheridan’s proximity to U.S. 14, a mountain highway near hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails and alpine streams, the town is especially popular among sledders in the winter and fly-fishers in the summer and autumn.
