Fodor's Expert Review The Swan Hotel

216 Monroe St., Port Townsend, Washington, 98368, USA

Tucked at the end of the downtown thoroughfare, this balcony-encased, four-story hotel features well-lighted, airy rooms with gorgeous sea views or, on the north side, overlooking the Point Hudson Marina. The "Wheelhouse" penthouse fills the top two floors, with a full kitchen, dining area, master suite with a king-size bed and two-person soaking tub, and two private decks, plus a second bedroom and bathroom, and a loft with two queen-size beds. Three of the four cottages feature jetted tubs and fireplaces, and certain rooms are dog-friendly. All come with high-definition TVs, Wi-Fi, microwaves, and mini-refrigerators. Guests receive complimentary passes to the athletic club across the street.
