Classical and pops concerts are presented from September through May in the historic Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, plus special events such as the Nutcracker Ballet and free outdoor concerts at city parks in summer.
The Bing, built in 1915, is one of America’s few remaining palace-style theaters. It was renamed for hometown hero Bing Crosby; he performed skits here in between the showing of silent films. In addition to a varied roster from comedy to music, it also hosts the Bing Crosby Holiday Film Festival every December, which highlights some of Crosby’s best films from his storied career.
