This large Red Lion hotel got a hip makeover in 2016, including an open stage in the colorful lobby where guests can enjoy live performances by locals and mingle with other guests, redecorated rooms with wood floors and modern minimalist furniture, and a bistro-style restaurant. The hotel is adjacent to Riverfront Park and just a two-block walk from the downtown shopping district. In summer, cool off in the swimming lagoon's waterfalls and Spokane's only hotel waterslide; an indoor pool and hot tub are open year-round. All guests get a free drink at the espresso bar; some packages include breakfast too.
