Fodor's Expert Review Leavenworth Upper Valley Museum

Leavenworth Museum/Gallery

Located on the banks of the Wenatchee River, the century-old River Haus, once the home of the town banker, now evokes pioneer days in the Cascades. Exhibits highlight the lives and times of the Field family, as well as local Native American tribes and other prominent residents of Leavenworth and the Upper Wenatchee Valley. The riverside grounds, where Arabian stallions were once put to graze, now host Audubon programs that take advantage of plentiful bird sightings.
