A more mature Southern-tinged drinking and dining experience diverges from the typical Adams Morgan scene. Though you can dance on the second floor into the wee hours Friday and Saturday, earlier in the evening you'll find interesting whiskey, scotch, and bourbon options coupled with Southern goodies like barbecue chicken salads, grits, and mac and cheese. It's casual, sometimes crowded, and the outdoor porch in summer is a welcome respite from the 18th Street crowd.
