Fodor's Expert Review Full Kee
Many locals swear that amid the slew of mediocre Chinese joints in the area this one is a standout. The style-free interior—reminiscent of the fluorescent-lit dives of Manhattan's Chinatown—can be off-putting, but the cuisine is better than most similar options within the city limits. Addictive shrimp or scallops in garlic sauce cry out for a carry-out to enjoy again later, as do the wide assortment of Cantonese-style roasted meats. Tried-and-true dishes include the dumplings, crispy duck, eggplant with garlic sauce, and gingery steamed lobster.
