Fodor's Expert Review Beau Thai
This dream of a local haunt was founded by an experienced Thai chef and two American entrepreneurs inspired by her flair for spice. The drunken noodle is light yet flavorful, the green curry is complex, and the sesame-crusted tofu appetizer achieves that nirvana of bean curd: carnivores can't get enough of it—just like patrons can't get their fill of this chic dining room and its uptown counterpart in Mount Pleasant. Delivery is rarely done well in D.C., but Beau Thai is the exception.
