Former Long Islanders Bruce and Tina Verdrager converted their old ski house and barns into this comfortably refined haven, perfect for those who want to ski but not stay in town. The centerpiece of the relaxed common areas is a huge 1850 English bar, with banquettes, a big double-sided fireplace, and a billiards table; rooms are standard Victorian affairs, clean and nice, but uninspiring compared to the grounds and setting.
