Fodor's Review

Sparkling glassware from the studio downstairs, exposed brick, flickering candles, and large windows overlooking the falls of the roaring Ottauquechee River create an ideal setting for contemporary American cuisine. The food here is worthy of a pilgrimage: horseradish-crusted blue cod with crispy leeks, herbed mashed potatoes, and a balsamic shallot reduction is a house specialty, as is roast duck with mango chutney sauce. The wine cellar holds several hundred labels.
