Fodor's Expert Review Nomad Eatery

Salt Lake City
Modern American
Located in something of a food desert amid the chain hotels southwest of Salt Lake International Airport, there's one terrific gastropub with a rustic-chic vibe, serving elevated comfort fare and creative cocktails. A nice option before or after a flight or on your way to or from Great Salt Lake State Park, Nomad doles out such eclectic dishes as Korean barbecue pulled-pork sandwiches and thin-crust pizzas topped with broccoli rabe, garlic cream, and taleggio cheese. It's next to Unita Brewpub.
