Fodor's Expert Review Gray Cliff Lodge Restaurant
Set in scenic Ogden Canyon, this romantic restaurant is famous for Utah trout, prime rib, lamb, and seafood. Lace tablecloths, linen napkins, and a wall of windows with views of the mountains and forests create a quiet, cozy atmosphere. Once a summer home and later a boarding house, it became a family-owned restaurant in 1945. The enclosed patio is especially nice in the spring and fall, and the fireplace is a fun gathering spot for pre or after-dinner drinks in winter. On Sunday a brunch buffet is offered from 10 to 2 and dinner service starts earlier than usual—at 3. Don't miss the ski museum in the bar.
