Fodor's Expert Review Hampton Inn and Suites
2401 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, 84401, United States Fodor's Choice
Gray marble floors, deep-purple chairs, and ceilings with ornate crown molding greet you in the lobby of this art deco beauty. Designed in the Chicago style by architect Leslie S. Hodgson and completed in 1913 as an office center, the building sat vacant for years before it was restored and opened as a hotel in 2002. The plush, welcoming lobby has a cozy breakfast room, and a coffee bar is available to guests at all times. Spacious guest rooms and suites with contemporary interiors feature updated bathrooms, thoughtful touches like lapdesks placed on the bed, and gorgeous views of the city and mountains. All guests have access to the large mirrored fitness room with wall-mounted TV, and the oversize whirlpool is a favorite with skiers after a long day on the slopes.
