This stately manor just off Main Street opened in 1907 as the Bredt Hotel and now has been brought back to life as a Texas Historic Landmark. Stay in one of six guest apartments (reasonably spacious for a turn-of-the-century building), each named after one of the six Highland Lakes and fully decorated with vintage furniture and elegant fabrics. The staff is exceptionally friendly and happy to help with any questions about what to do in the area.
