Fodor's Expert Review Blucher Park

Corpus Christi Park/Playground

Named "America's Birdiest City" for nearly a decade, Corpus Christi sits at the crossroads of the Mississippi and Central flyways, making it a top spot for birders and nature photographers. This little 4-acre park is a haven for flycatchers, thrushes, vireos, warblers, chimney swifts, and dozens more species—many of which seem to favor the blueberry tree in the center of the park. The Audubon Outdoor Club hosts free guided bird walks at 7:30 am on weekends in April (except Easter Sunday).
