Days Inn Opryland/Music Valley Dr

2460 Music Valley Dr., Nashville, Tennessee 37214, United States

Mary Margaret Harris

This basic hotel, one mile from the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Outlet Mall, has very friendly front-desk staff, and it makes a good, no-frills base for walking to restaurants and visiting Opryland. Pets are allowed.

This hotel is being renovated, so request an updated room.

Though the hotel is older and dated, request one of the renovated rooms to ensure a nicer stay at a reasonable price. Carpeted rooms include a king or two queen beds and a sitting area with two chairs and a table. Guests will find a desk and chair for working, as well as a coffee and tea maker for a caffeine-induced burst of morning energy.

YOU SHOULD KNOW The walls are thin, so light sleepers should pack earbuds for a sound night of rest.

Bathrooms are small and dated, and the vanity does not allow space for toiletries. A shower-bathtub combo with grab bars is in every room. A hairdryer is provided.

The lobby is small with the front desk adjoined to the breakfast nook. A seating area allows guests to a place to wait for groups.

The hotel has an outdoor pool for warm weather days.

While the hotel does not have a restaurant, it does offer a complimentary breakfast to guests.

Getting Around

The hotel is some distance from downtown Nashville; however, it is within driving distance to any of those destinations. Guests expecting to spend more time at the Gaylord Opryland Resort or the Grand Ole Opry will find this hotel is close enough for easy access.

The parking lot is free for guest use. Large vehicles from buses to RVs can also be accommodated.

Any of the restaurants at the Opryland Resort (7-minute drive) are easily accessible to travelers at the Days Inn. For Southern food outside of the Opryland Resort, try Cock of the Walk (2-minute drive). Restaurants close to downtown or popular neighborhoods such as the Gulch, like Biscuit Love (16-minute drive) will require more time to reach.

For live music nearby, try Music City Bar & Grill (3-minute drive). Visit The Nashville Palace (2-minute drive) for a venue with a history. An elevated night out without traveling downtown calls for Old Hickory Steakhouse (4-minute drive).

There's no question that this Days Inn has seen better days, but with undergoing renovations, the hotel will receive a much needed facelift. Guests will appreciate fair prices and free parking. Situated outside of downtown Nashville, this hotel is ideal for travelers looking to spend time at Opryland and the Grand Ole Opry, though trips to major attractions like the honky tonks on Broadway are a quick drive away.
