Located near Music Row and Vanderbilt, there are restaurants serving impressive dishes close at hand as well as the cheap and casual. The Pancake Pantry (4-minute drive) is very popular for a hearty breakfast as is Hattie B's Hot Chicken (5-minute walk) for lunch. For seafood, live music, and one of the best weeknight happy hours -- 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. -- we have seen, reserve a table at Sambuca (5-minute drive).
The Patterson House (6-minute walk) is a safe choice not far from the hotel, but Old Glory (15-minute walk) which is also within walking distance, though hidden, creates an undeniably cool atmosphere for a night out. For something truly different, take an Uber to Santa's Pub (8-minute drive), one of the diviest bars in Nashville.
WHY WE LIKE IT
While set apart from the downtown area, many of the most notable attractions are still less than three miles from Aertson Hotel. Its somewhat removed location gives guests the opportunity to explore Nashville neighborhoods in an environmentally-friendly way, from the seat of a cruiser bike. The posh, design-oriented atmosphere is the at the height of modern style without sacrificing comfort.
