Lodge at Buckberry Creek

961 Campbell Lead Rd., Gatlinburg, Tennessee, 37738, United States

This mountain retreat mirrors the late-19th-century "great camps" of the Adirondacks, where wealthy families escaped to grandiose compounds without leaving behind the luxuries and conveniences of home. Three room categories ranging from 600 to 900 square feet provide plenty of room to spread out and relax, some with a fireplace, private balcony—most with a view of Buckberry Creek and Mt. LeConte—and bathroom with shower and soaking tub. A continental breakfast is included, but you can also order from the expanded menu. Box lunches are available with advance notice. When weather permits, you can enjoy the restaurant's "refined mountain cuisine" outdoors.
