Fodor's Review

For crepes and cold-pressed coffee, locals turn to this venerable Charleston institution. Built in 1922, the corner building has served many purposes throughout the years: butcher shop, candy shop, and late-night convenience store, and now stays true to its roots as a neighborhood grocery store with much of the produce and other goods sourced from local growers. Don't pass up the sweet and savory crepes, named for the islands surrounding Charleston. The place still operates as a charming bodega, perfect for picking up a bottle of wine on the way to a picnic in White Point Gardens.
