Chef Jim Burke repeatedly wins "best chef" accolades from local and national magazines for his contemporary takes on Northern Italian fare—favorites are the hand-cut tagliatelle with a duck ragu seasoned with shavings of Valhrona chocolate and orange peel; and a slow-roasted Four Story Hill Farm poularde that's the perfect antidote to a chilly evening. He cooks, and his wife Kristina does everything else in the sleek and chic little restaurant, including setting an effusive tone that comes out in the servers' enthusiastic descriptions of the kitchen's offerings.
