Immensely talented chef-owner Justin Wills presents a short but memorable menu of creatively prepared, modern, Pacific Northwest cuisine each night in this romantic, contemporary dining room at the Whale Cove Inn. The menu changes regularly, with chef Wills sourcing largely from local farms, ranches, and fisheries. You might start with jasmine-tea-cured tuna crudo with jalapeño, citrus, garlic chips, and finger lime, followed by local rockfish served beside a bed of cannellini beans and bacon with grilled-kale-and-pine-nut pesto. Save room for dessert; it's impressive here, with the Meyer lemon–and-almond pancake with figs, Italian plums, and honey-yogurt ice cream a particular standout. There are also great views from the large windows overlooking the cove and the Pacific.
