Getting Around

If you want to bring a car, it’s $20 per night for self-parking and $23 per night for valet parking. But you can get around fine without a car. There's a bus stop and a MAX station just a block away, and if you want to get around like a true Portlander, the Crowne Plaza Portland - Downtown Convention Center has a fleet of bikes for guests to use (and best of all, they’re free!).

For one of the best dining experiences in Portland, head to OX Restaurant (11-minute walk), a restaurant that seamlessly blends local meat and fish with to-die-for Argentine flavors. Toro Bravo (11-minute walk) is another standout, serving incredible Spanish tapas (the squid ink pasta, paella, and octopus a la plancha are all excellent).

Black Water (10-minute walk) offers a uniquely Portland experience; a dive bar with live music and vegan pub food, it’s definitely worth a visit. Hop Haven - Bar and Bottle Shop (6-minute drive) is another great bar that’s close by, serving up a wide selection of beers in a fun atmosphere (Hop Haven regularly hosts trivia nights).

Some hotels catering to business travelers have a tendency to keep things pretty bare bones, but the Crowne Plaza Portland - Downtown Convention Center dishes up tons of amenities and an elegant atmosphere in a super convenient location.
