Young and helpful innkeepers Ann and Jason Skvarek run this inviting bed-and-breakfast in a smartly updated 1913 Craftsman-style house on a quiet residential street, within walking distance of the trendy dining, nightlife, and shopping of Division Street and the nearby Hawthorne District. You won't find doilies or lace in the tastefully furnished rooms—just some well-chosen period antiques, comfy beds, individual climate control, and private bathrooms. Breakfast incorporates fresh ingredients from the garden and local markets. The owners also rent out a lovely 1926 two-bedroom cottage about a mile east.
