Fodor's Expert Review Deschutes Brewery & Public House
Established in 1988, Bend's original brewpub remains a happening spot to get a taste of the city's beer scene. The menu includes a diverse lineup of craft brews, including rotating seasonals, and pub food, such as hearty burgers on house-made brioche rolls. Not only does the Brewery bake its own bread and pizza dough (adding in its own spent grain), it makes its sausages, sauces, mustards, dressings, soups, and so on. The pub is almost always hopping, and you may find yourself waiting to be seated, as there are no reservations.
