West Asheville
Eclectic
Fodor's Choice
As you enter this hipster haven in a historic building in a trendy part of West Asheville, you'll be taken by the charm of the intimate space, which features handmade shadowbox art from the 1950s, a collection of mirrors, and retro lava lamps above the bar. The menu is equally eclectic, with small and large plates, including deep-fried deviled eggs (far better than you'd think), calamari in a garlic marinara sauce, roasted octopus with fava beans, duck and andouille gumbo, elk meatballs, and trout with fennel.
