Fodor's Review

Eponymously named in Italian for its location in a former church just a few blocks from downtown Asheville, Chiesa feeds body and soul with appropriately heavenly fresh-made pastas served under high vaulted ceilings and in a light and cozy setting. Pasta is most certainly the focus here, be it house-made fettuccine, angel hair, or orecchiette pasta, served with flavorful meat or red tomato gravy and paired with Hickory Nut Gap sweet Italian sausage, shrimp scampi, and chicken marsala. The house-made, and perfectly stuffed, spinach ravioli served over your choice of meat or red tomato gravy is a must.
