Fodor's Expert Review Hudson Bar and Books
Along with its sister branch (Lexington Bar and Books) uptown, the Hudson reflects a literary bent with handsome cigar-bar flair. It's hardly a hushed library; the atmosphere here is more about book decor than serious literature. The seriously clubby look includes wood paneling and leather banquettes, and this is one of the few lounges in NYC where you can still smoke with your classic, seasonal, and signature cocktails.
